Vintage Watches - Our Collection and Philosophy
Our philosophy is to share very unusual, vintage watches with people who appreciate the art and history of each piece. Today, one company controls most of the watches in production. Hard to believe, but true. So, as a collector, the older vintage mechanical watches start to play a significant role. And some are becoming few and far between.
In our collection you will find an eclectic mix of classic watch brands, shapes, and histories. You'll find the usual vintage Angelus watches, Universal Geneve watches, and Jaeger-LeCoultre watches. But there are so many ignored quality classic watches, such as vintage Wittnauer watches, vintage Hamilton watches, and vintage Bulova watches. You'll find those on our website as well. When you have had your fill of vintage Rolex watches, you might want to consider Patek Philippe watches, vintage Omega watches, and vintage Breitling watches.
We hope you enjoy browsing our collection of these beautiful vintage watches and seeing what we feel are not only works of art, but pieces of irreplaceable history.
Why invest in a Vintage Watch?
We feel vintage watches are first and foremost investments and secondly, works of art. For example, Rolex historically goes up 18% per year in the spring. If you bought a 1972 Rolex in 1972—your money has gone up 10 times. A classic watch you buy from us today, has the potential to double in price in the next five years. Not bad for being able to wear a piece of art. For us, it is better to have 100 classic watches in the safe than money in the bank or stock market.
