How beautiful can it get! This is a mechanical 17 jewel "Must de Cartier" Tank. Cartier Tanks are the creme for them and with the black face and blue jewel on the Cabochon crown, this watch is exceptional. Serial number is 6 052697, and the era of the "Must de Cartier" is 1970s. The case is sterling silver then plated with 20 micron or 22kt Gold. You can tell if a dial has been refinished. This one has not. You can verify the authenticity of the watch by viewing the leg of the roman numeral VII. On the right leg of the V, you can read "Cartier" in place of the normal line. A stunning timepiece with some aging patina, but exceptional in every way. |
