| Gübelin along with Universal Geneve are both high quality watches that are seriously underestimated considering the quality workmanship inside. This watch has a stainless steel, non oxidizable, back clearly identified by the watch maker. The model number is 8694-15, the serial number is 48159. The watch was made in Lucerne, Switzerland in 1953. It has a superior pie pan dial that has not been refinished. It keeps excellent time. It has a genuine lizard French made band that is dark blue, greatly complimenting the watch. The dial and the hands appear original. The dial has started to patina. This would make a great watch to wear any time. |
