Chronograph c.11, just completed 1969 original band, l/69, or second quarter 1969. Never seen one cleaner. If you study the Calibre 11 (which is an excellent movement), you will see no marks on the screw heads and beautiful jewels. Same watch as the "Jo Siffert" model, but black dial and white second. The "Jo Siffert" model has white dial and black second dials. Movement on both watches are the same Calibre 11. I wear this watch every day and get many compliments. Before the TAG Heuer Quartz watch, Heuer made a tremendous watch. The Autavia and Monaco are just two of the most popular models. This is a fine watch with exceptional original band. The bezel is near mint. It has several scratches that could be buffed out. I don't do that. It is an authentic vintage watch. It should be worn and used proudly. Many years from now, put a leather band on it to preserve the original. One just sold with a leather band on the forum in less condition for $3500. You will not be disappointed. I have to make myself take it off. Unique to Heuer, and some Rolex, is the date quickset. If you buy the watch, ask how to quickset the date. |
