Extremely rare. I've never seen one. Yes, I've seen many mystery dials, but not one finished in florentine on the bezel. It gives the watch a class all its own. Generally, the mystery dial comes with three very small diamonds at the hour markers. This mystery dial has larger diamonds with total weight of .26 karats, excellent VS-2/Color H.

This 14Kt white gold LeCoultre in correct terms is called a galaxy mystery dial. It is signed three times; dial, case, movement. The case is two pieces. Bright silver dial with diamond hour markers and diamond mystery dial hands signed LeCoultre.

The movement is LeCoultre Calibre 480 Swiss made, exceptional, with 17 jewels. The house mark for the movement marker is VXN, which is the house code for Vacheron Constantin.

Gently worn with some patina on the dial. Original crown which has been reworked and the watch should provide years of service. One of a kind.
