Blancpain has been around making watches since 1735. History and quality are the trademarks. It is a step above the rest. They build probably in the top 4 watches in the world. Blancpain says "since 1735, there has never been a quartz Blancpain watch, and there never will be." Even Rolex can't make that statement. This watch is a 2185-1176-53B. Please look it up. They MSRP at $10,500 to $13,500. You can still buy one for 8-10 Thousand. If you own one, you won't get rid of it. Some of the odd things just to make it special. Cal 1185 has 37 Jewels. The case is cut from a solid piece of high grade stainless steel. It is extremely high quality with 40 hours of reserve (if you wind it all the way up). Has 304 components. It is rock solid. Waterproof to 100M. Sapphire crystal. Unique deployment band that is smooth and easy to wear. Very unique transparent hands. This is number 381 of a limited series. Production 1000. (Blancpain only make a small number each year.) Comes with complete box set (inner and outer box). It is in mint condition. Not likely to do anything except appreciate over time. Old fashioned craftsmanship and styling. Even the pushers screw down. The coming collector's choice. |
