Let's start with a class on Astronauts. For a true collector, or anyone interested in these particular watches, there are things to know. What year is it and does it have a matching year movement or 1 year before (more typical)? Is the movement a true Astronaut movement (should be a 214 HN, not a 214 modified or 214H)? The best band for collectors is the famous "Bullet Link Band." It is best that it be original, not with lots of buffing or replacement crystal, hands, etc.
Now that you know a little about Astronauts, here is the watch. Serviced recently and ready to wear. It is sure enough original. It has several small scratches and such. However, lovely Astronaut. It is an M7, or 1967 (43 years old). It has a 214 HN M6 movement, you can't beat that. Nice light patina dial. Original factory lines on back of case, tells me it was not worn much. Very, very nice quality and condition Bullet link band. Original Accutron clasp completes this fine example of a fine watch. Some day the one on the moon will come back. Additionally, you can hear a very strong Accutron humming- strong shape. This watch comes with a Bulova inner and outer box.
