Rare find. Rolex stopped building Thunderbirds in 2005 and the quantity has always been limited. Very few model numbers and limited production. There were only 12 models compared to 50+ datejust models. This watch is 18Kt and stainless steel. It has inner and outer boxes, and books. The model number 16263 is significant. It means it is a quick set 3035 movement, which is one of the best. In addition, the papers show the white dial with Roman numerals was factory installed. If you are collecting, this watch is near perfect. Fabulous condition on the jubilee band. 18Kt gold crown. Absolutely mint condition watch. Beautiful to wear or fabulous for a collection. The bezel is key to Thunderbirds, and I can not see any marks on the watch, even under the microscope. Actually, I see one now, but you can't see it with the naked eye. The warranty sheet is a copy of the original. |
