Clean, Rolex only service. Very nice with service box and last service. No other marks on the watch, so the only one to service it since 1977 is Rolex. Last service was 2001 and has the papers. Watch was checked 22 March 2011 by Rolex certified technician and is in perfect condition. Has not been worn much at all and needs no service. Beautiful black dial with original hands. Crystal is acrylic and in great condition except for one scratch above the 7 o'clock marker. This is a 1570 movement, same as the Submariner. The 1570 movement is one of my favorites. It has the hack feature and the movement rate is 19,800 BPH as compared to 18,000. 26 jewel and just beautiful condition. The model is 1603 and the serial number is 5,081,643. Has a new quick pin Mariner Hirsch water resistant band. Datejust are not hard to find, but it is hard to find one serviced only by Rolex and in this condition. The movement is exceptional. It is slow set, not the quickset movement. If you want an exceptional black dial Rolex, I would consider this one. |
