Getting to be rare! 16600 is discontinued, having been superseded by the 116660 Deepsea in 2008. This means the end of an era. The original Sea-Dweller was developed by Rolex and, famously, COMEX, as a higher water resistance version of the Submariner suitable for saturation diving. The 16600 was introduced in 1978. 100% original, as new hologram cover on the back. Complete bracelet (12 links). Tool and chart for decompression. 3135 movement, which is a hack movement and a work horse with 28,800 BPH. You can't find a more bulletproof movement. Let me say again..as new, and discontinued. Serial number is D296193 and clasp is MA5 (May 2005). Stainless steel, date, luminescent markers, sweep second, SS black insert, quickset, sapphire crystal, automatic movement, flip lock bracelet. Get it now and put it in the safe. I thought hard about keeping it forever in my own safe, but I just can't keep them all! Warranty card, tool, decompression card, inner and outer box, hang tags (properly numbered), complete. |
