It's hard to find Veri Thin movements in good shape. Veri Thin movements are thicker in the middle, and thinner on the edge. By using the Veri Thin calibre, the dials can be curved or dome shaped. This watch has a very high grade 17 jewel movement that dates to the late 40s or early 50s. The case is 14Kt gold, unpolished, with factory lines very visible along with the serial number, K27582. Gruen 14Kt is also very clear on the case back. The dial is original with separate second hand at the 6 o'clock position. The dial has diamonds at the 12,3, and 9 o'clock positions. Crystal is original and is glass. Case has beautiful tear drop lugs that compliment the watch. A rare and beautiful 14Kt gold collectible tank from Gruen. |
