| Historic 1936 steel and 18Kt Rose Gold tank watch. Don't buy a Patek without the "Extract From The Archives" from Patek. The extract shows this watch was purchased May 10th, 1937, and that it was manufactured in 1936. Calibre is 9'"-90, manual winding. Case no. 503.823 and the reference number is 429/1. The extract says steel and 18Kt Rose Gold, number 831,185. The auction house estimated $17500.00 to $19500 at one point. The dial is "Staybrite" steel and is mint. So is the case. I should leave this one in the safe, but now you have the opportunity to put it in yours. The value will only go up over time. |
