This watch was designed by Michael Schumacher specifically for the racing team, "Championship Auto Racing Team." Their logo is at 6 o'clock. Only 250 were built. Rare and hard to find. This watch was produced for the team in 1998 time frame. Who knows the team member who wore it. This movement is a wow. 1143 is a coaxial, 45 jewel movement that is automatic. You don't get 45 jewels usually until you have a huge and expensive watch. Rolex usually doesn't get beyond 31 jewels. This movement cost today about $1861 if you were to purchase a replacement movement. This rare watch has the original band in used condition. Sapphire crystal, beautiful bezel and for the year, in excellent contiodition. A prize for any collector. Fine Omega and rare. Oh, model is 175.0032.1 or 175.0033.1. |
