The Wittnauer story begins in 1872 when Albert Wittnauer, a 16 year old watchmaker from Switzerland comes to the US. After seeing the need in the American market, Albert forms the Wittnauer brand with his younger brother. The company saw continued success with the help of the entire family. Through a relationship with the US Army in the two World Wars and popularity with aviators, vintage Wittnauer watches are a great American watch and a beautiful addition to your collection.
